Judas mirakuløse redning

Assyrerrigets herlighed var såre stor og dybt dets fald. Profeten Ezekiel sammenlignede det også med et ædelt cedertræ og forudsagde rent ud, at Assyriens fald skyldtes dets stolthed og grusomhed. Han sagde:
