The good work wrought for the church at Battle Creek last fall, the thorough reform and turning to the Lord by physicians, helpers, and managers at the Health Institute, and the general agreement of our brethren and sisters in all parts of the field relative to the great object of the Health Institute and the manner it should be conducted, to which is added the varied experience of more than one year, not only in the wrong course, but also in a right direction, give me more confidence that the health reform and the Health Institute will prove a success than I ever had before. I still fondly hope to see the Health Institute at Battle Creek prospering and in every respect the institute shown me. But it will take time to fully correct and outgrow the errors of the past. Det gode arbejde som blev gjort for Battle Creek menigheden sidste efterår, den gennemgribende fornyelse og omvendelse til Herren på grund af lægerne, hjælperne og lederne på sundhedsinstitutionen og den almindelige enighed fra vore brødre og søstre i alle dele af marken, som står i forbindelse med sundhedsintuitionens store mål og den måde den bør ledes på, hvortil der kommer en bred erfaring fra mere end et år, ikke kun i den forkerte retning, men også i den rigtige, giver mig mere tiltro til at sundhedsreformen og sundhedsintuitionen vil vise sig mere at være en succes end før. Jeg håber stadig inderlig at se sundhedsintuitionen i Battle Creek vokse og i enhver henseende være den institution der er vist mig. Men det vil tage tid at rette og vokse sig fra de tidligere fejl. Med Guds velsignelse kan dette og vil dette blive gjort.
