From Miletus the travelers had a prosperous voyage to Patara, on the southwest shore of Asia Minor, where they left their ship, and took passage on another vessel bound for the coast of Phenicia. De rejsende havde en god tur fra Milet til Patara og ud for Lilleasiens sydvestkyst, hvor de forlod deres skib og tog en anden måd der gik til Fønikiens kyst. De fik igen glæde af gode vinde, og to uger før pinse, landede de i Tyrus, hvor skibet blev losset. |
